The airpark area is centrally situated in the municipality of Gagnef. Within a radius of 2-3 km there are shops, schools, a bank and other municipal services. Gagnef is situated between Borlänge and Leksand along the road 70. It is close to the epicenter of the summer tourism being about 25km from each city. Gagnef is a municipality that developed the countryside with a positive approach. We protect nature with forests and lakes. Our farmland will retain its fauna so that our children can grow up in a calm and safe environment. We also give companies an opportunity to develop. In the municipality there are many hunting teams for small wild animals as well as moose. Hunting cards can be obtained from the landowner. Gagnef has many other leisure time offers, such as: fishing in rapids and lakes, both during the summer and winter, swimming, golfing (only 2 km to the Rista Golf course). We also offer horseback riding (horse drawn carriages in winter), guided tours, and hiking opportunities. The area also has an excellentground for cross-country skiing. Gagnef offers, together with other municipalities, possibilities to join our sport clubs as ice hockey, football, motoring, golf, canoeing, etc at a low cost. |
